Rainbow Silicon Carbide Specimen, 1.71" Mini Iridescent Carborundum Crystal (7.88g)

This one-of-a-kind mini-size collector-grade Rainbow Silicon Carbide (Carborundum) specimen features a dark black, chrome-like crystalline structure covered in brilliant metallic iridescence. This piece is especially sparkly, with tightly packed crystalline formations producing countless tiny flashes across its highly textured surface. Pink and magenta tones are particularly prominent, mixed with flashes of purple, green, blue, gold, yellow and other rainbow colors that shift constantly as the piece is moved. The effect is visible even in indirect light and becomes especially intense under bright direct lighting.

About Silicon Carbide
• Also known as Carborundum
• Collector-grade quality with well-formed crystalline structure and brilliant rainbow iridescence
• Laboratory-grown crystalline material produced under extremely high temperatures
• Known for its distinctive black metallic appearance and intense rainbow iridescence
• Colors shift and change as the crystals are moved through the light
• Extremely hard material measuring approximately 9 on the Mohs hardness scale

Traditional Metaphysical Properties
• Traditionally associated with grounding, stability, focus and resilience
• Often connected with personal transformation and overcoming adversity
• Traditionally used for EMF protection and often placed near computers, routers and other electronics
• Commonly associated with the Root Chakra and the full spectrum of seven chakras
• Especially associated with the Third Eye and Crown Chakras

Important Care Note
• Silicon Carbide is extremely hard, but its jagged crystalline formations can be sharp and somewhat brittle. Handle carefully and keep away from surfaces or other crystals that could be scratched. Tiny pieces or flakes may occasionally come loose during transit; this is normal for this type of crystalline material. Every specimen will be carefully wrapped with extra protection, regardless of size.

Photo & Size Note
• Pure white background photos and videos were taken under professional lighting to accurately show the specimen’s intense reflective colors. Bright direct light will produce the strongest rainbow effect as the piece is moved.
• Close-up photography can make small specimens appear larger than they are. Please refer to the listed measurements and the coin and palm photos for true size comparison.
• The complex reflective surface is extremely difficult to capture accurately with a standard phone camera, so the professionally lit photos and videos provide the best representation of its appearance in person.
