This one-of-a-kind natural raw Black Tourmaline with Mica specimen from Brazil features a substantial, deeply striated Black Tourmaline crystal surrounded and partially separated by an incredible abundance of shiny, highly reflective mica. Bright silvery and reddish-brown mica formations extend around, between and throughout the Tourmaline, creating a wild combination of contrasting colors, textures and brilliant metallic-looking flashes. The reddish tones are consistent with iron-rich coloration within the mica. The Black Tourmaline displays beautiful parallel lengthwise striations across its broad crystal faces, along with a few natural crosswise lines that may resemble cracks in the photos but do not appear to separate the crystal. Despite its small size, this compact specimen has a satisfying weight and an impressive amount of mineral detail.
