Rare Sumatra Amber Fossil Stone, 50.1mm Hand Polished Freeform from Indonesia (27.77g)

This beautiful Sumatra Amber from Indonesia falls between a medium and large size and is professionally cut and fully hand polished into a slightly flattened oval freeform shape. In ordinary lighting it has a deep, dark body color with subtle inclusions, but direct bright light reveals translucent golden-yellow areas along with unusually strong deep blue coloration. When illuminated from behind, the piece transforms into fiery shades of red and orange, revealing a complex interior filled with contrasting natural inclusions. This piece comes from a special batch I personally imported directly from Indonesia approximately 10 years ago and have held onto ever since.
