This beautiful small-size Prehnite tumbled and polished stone from Brazil features a charming freeform shape with softly rounded edges and outstanding natural character. Large translucent Green Epidote areas contrast beautifully against abundant Black Tourmaline inclusions, creating one of the most eye-catching combinations found in this material. The polished Epidote catches the light with a subtle natural shimmer, while portions of the exposed Black Tourmaline reveal tiny crystal faces that sparkle under bright lighting. Although translucent, the stone is not simply cloudy—instead, the polished windows reveal the fascinating internal structure created by multiple naturally botryoidal Prehnite formations that grew together over time. Despite its petite size, this one-of-a-kind piece has tremendous personality and is one of my favorite examples of this material.
