Rutilated Quartz Tumble Stone, 30.8mm Multi Color Rutile, Hand Polished Crystal from Brazil (30.87g)

This beautiful one-of-a-kind natural Gold, Copper & Silver Rutilated Quartz from Brazil is a medium-sized, tumbled and hand polished stone from my personal collection, originally purchased from a mineral vendor along the Venice Beach boardwalk in California approximately 12 years ago. This remarkable specimen features an abundance of fine, needle-like rutile inclusions in warm golden, coppery-red, and delicate silvery tones, intricately woven throughout its exceptionally clear and transparent quartz. Countless slender needles crisscross at different angles, forming fascinating intersecting patterns, and layered networks that appear suspended within the crystal. Additional natural hematite inclusions add further mineral character and complexity. Beautifully rounded with a slightly irregular shape, this stone has an attractive glossy polish and wonderful clarity that allows you to look deep into its interior. When viewed under direct lighting or illuminated from behind, the intricate rutile formations become especially striking, revealing seemingly endless overlapping needles and remarkable three-dimensional depth. One narrow recessed line measuring approximately half an inch and a small area of cream-colored mineral inclusions reaching the surface, with a slight polished indentation, are present as part of its natural character. Otherwise, the stone is beautifully smooth and shiny. Originally sold under the name "Angel Hair Quartz," this special piece offers an impressive combination of rutile colors, exceptional internal detail, and captivating transparency. Its attractive rounded shape, fascinating inclusions, and long-held personal collection history make it an excellent collector's specimen, display piece, or special addition to a premium collection of natural polished quartz.
