River Tumbled Topaz, Golden Yellow, 12.09g Internal Rainbows, Radiating Silver Inclusion, Nigeria (23.5mm)

This fascinating 12.09 gram (60.45 carat) natural raw Golden Yellow Topaz crystal from Nigeria features a small, chunky, irregular formation with delicate pale golden-yellow coloring and a mostly translucent interior. Naturally smoothed by river action over time, this specimen has gently rounded edges, shallow dimples, and subtle indentations, while one broad crystalline face retains a shinier, more transparent surface with delicate natural etchings. Through this face, you can see intricate, fine threadlike inclusions resembling a delicate woven or spun pattern, along with deeper golden-yellow mineral inclusions and beautiful internal rainbow flashes that appear under the right lighting. Its most intriguing feature is an approximately 2.5 mm, nearly circular, dark silver-gray metallic mineral inclusion exposed flush with the crystal's surface. This remarkable inclusion displays an unusual textured, somewhat radiating appearance and can reflect a brighter silvery shine when illuminated directly. Additional dark mineral inclusions are also visible nearby, adding to the specimen's distinctive character. Carefully preserved in a personal collection for more than 12 years, this is a captivating one-of-a-kind Topaz specimen with an unusual combination of natural river worn surfaces, internal inclusions, and colorful rainbow reflections.
