This beautiful one-of-a-kind natural Green Malachite from the Democratic Republic of Congo is a top-quality, carefully hand-selected, tumbled and hand polished freeform stone featuring spectacular shades of rich emerald-green, vibrant lighter green, and deep forest-green throughout. This large-sized specimen has a beautifully rounded, somewhat asymmetrical freeform shape with a smooth, glossy polish that highlights its intricate natural banding. Bold concentric rings, flowing waves, sweeping curves, and tightly layered green bands create striking patterns that wrap around the stone and change dramatically from one viewing angle to another. The alternating lighter and darker Malachite layers reveal remarkable depth and character, while certain darker areas retain a subtle velvety, sparkling shimmer associated with the stone's original fibrous Malachite formations, now polished to a smooth and shiny finish. This special optical detail is particularly beautiful when viewed in person under direct lighting and may not be fully captured in photographs.
