Green Emerald Crystal Sphere, Large 60.6mm, Biotite Schist & Milky Quartz Matrix, Bahia, Brazil (330g)

This large fully polished Green Emerald (Green Beryl) sphere from Bahia, Brazil features a concentrated area of natural green Emerald surrounded by dramatically contrasting Biotite Schist and creamy Milky Quartz. Rather than Emerald covering the entire sphere, the green crystalline material is concentrated primarily through one major portion, while another side transitions into dark, heavily micaceous Schist filled with brilliant silvery sparkle. Tiny natural Pyrite crystals add scattered gold-colored flashes throughout the material, giving this unusually varied piece something completely different to discover from every angle.
