This stunningly beautiful piece of Sumatra Red and Golden-Yellow Amber from Indonesia falls between a medium and large size and is professionally cut and fully hand polished into an elongated oval freeform shape. The Amber is translucent under good lighting and contains abundant natural inclusions that can be seen extending throughout the piece and deep beneath the surface. These organic-looking inclusions range from creamy white and golden yellow to reddish brown, with many having a distinctive feathery appearance. When illuminated from behind, the piece transforms into brilliant fiery shades of red, orange, and golden yellow. This piece comes from a special batch I personally imported directly from Indonesia approximately 10 years ago and have held onto ever since.
