This beautiful medium-size Prehnite tumbled and polished stone from Brazil has a smooth oval/ovoid shape that resembles a cabochon but is fully rounded on both sides instead of having a flat back. Its comfortable size, balanced weight, and graceful proportions make it an outstanding candidate for wire wrapping into a pendant. The translucent Prehnite displays a soft greenish-yellow body color filled with striking Black Tourmaline needle inclusions and Green Epidote. Two richly colored Epidote inclusions stand out with a deeper, more vivid green than the surrounding stone, creating beautiful natural contrast. When illuminated from behind, the stone comes alive as the Tourmaline and Epidote form an incredible floating crystal landscape that looks like Nature's own artwork. You can even see inclusions going through the stone from one side to the other, revealing remarkable internal crystal formations. A few small natural pockets have been polished smoothly, preserving the stone's natural character while leaving the rest of the surface exceptionally glossy and pleasant to hold.
